I started BR Pavers Design because I wanted to build something that lasted. Not just pavers and pool decks, though we've laid plenty of those. I wanted to build a business where the work mattered, where every project reflected genuine craftsmanship instead of schedule pressure and cutting corners.

Those first years were just me. The Florida sun doesn't negotiate—it shows up before dawn and demands everything you have. I laid pavers myself, pressure washed driveways, sealed surfaces, and learned what it meant to stake your name on every square foot. You can't fake that work. Either your lines are straight or they're not. Either your foundation holds or it settles. Either you show up or you don't.

That's where the family part came in naturally. My son saw what we were building and wanted to be part of it. Not because it was easy, but because it was honest. We expanded into landscaping, fire pits, retaining walls—each service came because clients asked and we had the foundation to deliver properly. We didn't chase what looked profitable; we built what we could stand behind.
